As part of the M1/M69 half-day conference "Writing programmes that are accessible to disabled students" at the University of Derby on November 8th. I presented two sessions on "Supporting deaf students from the curriculum to the classroom". I was ably assisted by Karen as signer and two deaf students Lianne and Anthony (and hearing dog). The sessions looked at ways to support deaf students in the classroom that I have developed in my reflective practice and with the help of supporting resources. The materials from the conference are on the University website at M1/M69 News.
