materials are used. The upper is constructed from many pattern pieces
which are carefully designed for a purpose of fashion and function
of the shoe in action. The upper is a one piece where small pieces
are sewn on to of each other.
            3. Supportive pieces - For the back part of the shoe a stiffener
is inserted in between the upper and the lining. The glass fibre
stiffener (also known as heel cup) has been moulded on the basis
of the heel of the foot. It support the foot ideally and improves
the torsion resistance of the shoe. Heel cup can be also made of
premoulded fibre, polyethylene of plastic. For the front part of
the shoe also a supportive piece can be used. It is called toe puff.
It support toes and prevents upper material to wear off easily.
Most sportswear use either soft filmic toe puffs or nothing at all.
