Basic technical jacket block - measurements
This block eliminates shoulder and armhole seams while maintaining arm lift. This ´shell´ provides a basis for many variations in yoke lines and the degree of arm lift, and elbow articulation, can be varied according to the posture of the intended end use. The block is close fitting and appropriate for two or three layer shell garments.
The example given is drafted to standard mens´s size 100 cm chest without seam allowance included. Measurements used are as follows:
Chest 100 cm
Scye depth 24,4 cm
Natural waist length 44,6 cm
Jacket length (varies for selected style) 80 cm
Neck size 40 cm
Half Back 20 cm
Shoulder plus overarm 82 cm
Finished wrist measurement for size 100 34 cm
