Fibre Modifications

A wide range of synthetic fibres may be produced with different cross-sectional shapes, diameters, mechanical properties and chemical properties by changing the methods of production. The synthetic fibres have great potential for further development. Fibre properties may be developed by modifications to the basic man-made fibre extrusion processes, including the incorporation of micro-encapsulated products, and finishing techniques.
