Weft knitting machines may be circular or flat, they
may have one set of needles or two, some very special machines may
have more than two sets.
Simple warp knitted fabric
Warp knitting machines have their needles in straight
bars. They usually have more than one warp and each warp is threaded
through guides on a separate guide bar. The structures are developed
by moving the warp threads sideways between loop forming cycles.
