Heat loss
      This comes from:

        - Skin / blood vessels

            - Sweat is evapourated from the skin surface, the heat needed to
do this is removed from the body.

            - When you get hotter the blood vessels near the surface open (become
redder) so more heat is lost.

        - From the lungs warm air is expired

        - From urine and faeces - small amount of heat loss

The overall temperature is regulated by the hypothalamus in the brain.
