D-Ring for laces

D-rings are made of metal or plastic. They works ad holes and eyelets except lacing the shoe are speeded up. This is because of wider hole and D-ring is loose from the facing piece. D-ring lace-up system are also called as a speed lacing. The placing of the hole can be situated symmetrically or asymmetrically. Place of the hole gives a better fit for a front of the shoe . Asymmetrically holes are also used for a broader closure base. Also tighten of the cone/breast area of the shoe can be adjusted. The hole can be placed i.e as below:
